Concord California Information
Concord is the largest city in Contra Costa County. Largely a suburb of San Francisco, being just 30 miles to the east of it, Concord rests at the foothills of the incredible Mt. Diablo. According to a 2000 census, over 120,000 people live in the city, spread out over 30 square miles.
Concord has created a family-first atmosphere, even adopting the slogan, "Concord, Where Families Come First." The city also has a deep western colonial past but has managed to integrate modern development without disturbing the historicity. As with any medium sized city, Concord offers a range of housing prices from low income aparments, to high rise executive condos.
