If you are a prospective buyer, your best chances of getting the home you want at a fair price and closing the deal quickly, whether it is a house in Santa Clara County or anywhere else in the country, is to be sure of your FICO score, get pre-approved and have a good idea of what comparative homes to the one you have chosen are selling for.
